 Esk State School

Esk is the hub of a chain of lakes and dams in the Upper Brisbane Valley. Esk State School is located in the Brisbane Valley approximately 65 kilometres north of Ipswich and 100 kilometres north-west of Brisbane. Our school is co-educational providing a well-balanced education for students from Prep to Year 6.

We provide a well-rounded curriculum using the latest researched based programs to explicitly teach Mathematics, Writing, Word Study and Reading. Our Curriculum programing uses the Australian National Curriculum.

Our students enjoy an excellent Instrumental Music Program, Senior and a Junior Choir. Our music program also boasts a full class set of acoustic guitars and several Yamaha electronic keyboards and tuned percussion instruments.

We welcome and encourage involvement in the school by the whole of the Esk Community. Our staff look forward to the opportunity to work alongside you, our parents and caregivers, as together we prepare our students to be citizens of the future. We are proud of our student leadership team who work with staff and students to nurture our students as they grow and learn in our supportive caring school.
