The Esk & District Kindergarten works closely with Esk State School to provide pre-prep students with skills and experiences that support their transition from Kindy to Prep.
Their play-based learning provides opportunities for children to explore, solve problems, develop friendships, imagine and create, while enhancing their language, literacy and numeracy skills.
They support children to be curious, capable, and collaborative learners. Both their indoor and outdoor spaces have been designed to ignite imaginations and nurture healthy minds and bodies, as children explore, experiment, play, and learn.

Additionally, partnerships are fostered with the Toogoolawah Kindergarten and Country Kids Play and Learning Centre.
Transition Statements for children at Kindy are assembled at the end of the teaching year. With parental permission, these are shared with the school so that the Prep Teacher is informed of where your child's learning is up to.
