Esk State School Student Council are recyclers!
The student council runs the Containers for Change for the school. As big users of poppers and pop-up drinks (especially on Tuckshop Days) the P&C encouraged the student body to become Containers for Change collectors.
Our recycling bins are on Ann Street - and anyone from the community can put their suitable containers into our recyling bins. Most aluminium, glass, plastic, steel and liquid paperboard drink containers between 150ml and 3L are eligible. See the posters and the information on the left of the webpage for further information.
With 10c per container, the money goes towards items needed by the students. We have just purchased a new (far more comfortable) sick bed!
